A moment of terror was experienced in the qualifying of the Formula 2 Monaco Grand Prix when Isack Hadjar, Campos Racing driver, almost collided with Ritomo Miyata in the famous tunnel of the Principality.

The main cause of the incident was the large speed difference between both pilots. Hadjar was traveling at more than 200 km/h on a flying lap, while Miyata was practically stopped on the track. This made it difficult for Hadjar to see the Japanese pilot and react in time.

However, it should be noted that Hadjar ignored the yellow flags that the stewards had been showing him since before the accident. These flags indicated that there was a slower vehicle on the track and that it should slow down.

The incident has generated controversy and debate about the responsibility of both pilots. Some believe that Miyata was also partly to blame for not deviating from the line in the narrow tunnel, while others criticize Hadjar for not paying attention to the yellow flags.

Regardless of the responsibilities, this incident serves as a reminder of the risks that come with motorsport. Pilots must always be alert and prepared to react to unexpected situations.
