Lionel Messi was able to be present for the start of this tournament because he will not be on the Herons’ visit to Vancouver Whitecaps, something that Gerardo Martino explained was due to his intention to preserve him as well as Suárez and Busquets to receive to Atlanta United in the key match due to the fight for first place in the Eastern Conference in view of what the playoff positions will be.
In fact, Lucho was also a great figure of the evening and entered the playing field with number 10 to serve as godfather of the youth players. Both “have set out to inspire the next generation of football players,” highlighted the Florida franchise.
