A warm front will move through the New York area, followed by a cold front on Memorial Day Monday afternoon.

Likewise, dense fog is expected to remain in effect until Monday morning for coastal sections.

Showers are expected in the morning, followed by mostly cloudy skies this afternoon, where showers and thunderstorms will occur in the region.

Some of those storms may contain damaging winds, hail, and powerful downpours. Highs will be in the mid 70s in the city and upper 60s in the suburbs.

In this sense, Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warmer winds will go west. Additionally, the high temperature will be 83° F in the city and 80 in the suburbs.

Wednesday is forecast to be cloudier with a chance of showers as the front approaches the region from the west. High temperatures will be 78 degrees in the city and 70 to near 80° F in the suburbs.

Thursday is cloudier and cooler, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s across much of the area, Pix 11 New York reported.

On the other hand, Friday will be mostly sunny and pleasant as high pressure moves in from the west. The high will be 74 degrees in the city and the low in the mid 70s in the suburbs.
