Starting June 1, millions of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients in the United States will begin receiving their payments.

This program, which provides food assistance to low-income individuals and families, distributes benefits on specific dates, depending on the state.

Payments in Texas and Florida

In Texas, beneficiaries with SNAP Eligibility Determination (EDG) numbers 42-45, 50-53, or 96-99 will receive up to $1,751 if they are part of a family of eight, or $291 if they are an individual beneficiary. .

Florida uses a different method, sending benefits based on the 8th and 9th digits of the SNAP case number.

For example, those with numbers ending in 96-99 received their payment on May 28.
