The president of the United States, Democrat Joe Biden, began a new strategy to attract African-American voters with an electoral rally in Philadelphia in which he promised that he will “make a loser again” of Republican Donald Trump, his future rival in the November elections.

“With your vote in 2024, we are going to make Donald Trump a loser again,” he promised at the Girard College Educational Center in Philadelphia, where the majority of students are African-American.

Biden listed the policies he has implemented since arriving at the White House in January 2021 to help the African-American community and made it clear that, without their support, he is unlikely to be re-elected in the November elections.

“Yeah!” was how the public responded

“I remain optimistic, but I need you, are you with me?” he said in his speech, to which the crowd responded by standing up and shouting: “Yes!”

In a statement, the team of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris reported the beginning of a campaign that will last all summer and will have “an eight-figure investment” at the national level in all the key states to reach “the column “backbone of the Biden-Harris coalition: black voters.”

These voters, the statement adds, played “a decisive role” in the election of Biden and Harris in 2020, which the Democratic president won over Trump, who will also aspire to victory on November 5 and is today a favorite according to polls.

The ‘Black Voters for Biden-Harris’ campaign begins with a rally at Girard College, attended by African American leaders from across the country, including Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Harris herself.

Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan

In addition to a media campaign, numerous activities will be held in the coming months, mainly in states such as Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan, aimed at capturing the vote of the African-American population.

These are what are known as ‘purple states’ or hinge, in which a winning candidate has not been defined a priori due to the narrow margin between the two and which, therefore, will be key to victory.

Sylvia and Chloe Youngblood and Darlene Williams are three African American women convinced that the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, is the one who can best defend the rights of their community from the White House.

“Biden is the best option for our future. “Whoever votes against him will be voting against our interests,” she stated with conviction.
