A group of Real Madrid fans traveling to London for the Champions League final had an unexpected experience: they had to board a plane with the image of Barcelona Femenil.

The airline Vueling, official sponsor of the Barcelona team, recently added a personalized plane with the image of the Barcelona Femenil players to its fleet.

This same plane, which debuted in the Women’s Champions League, was used to transport Real Madrid fans to the English capital on Vueling flight VY6020, which departed from Barcelona at 9:44 and would arrive in London at 10:15.

Real Madrid fans were quick to share their discontent on social media. Between videos and comments, they expressed their disbelief and indignation at having to travel on a plane with the colors and image of the rival team.

The situation also generated a stir on social networks, where many users criticized Vueling for the decision to assign this plane to Real Madrid fans. It was considered disrespectful and a distasteful marketing strategy on the part of the airline.

This incident undoubtedly tarnished the experience of Real Madrid fans heading to the Champions League final. What should have been an exciting trip became a source of ridicule and annoyance for the merengue fans.

It remains to be determined whether Vueling’s decision was due to a simple logistical error or if it was a marketing strategy to generate conversation on social networks.
