Famous models and sisters, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, made a joint donation of $1 million to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine.

According to The Hollywood Reporter portal, this amount will be distributed equally between four organizations that focus on helping Palestinian children and families, including HEAL Palestine, an organization that works to offer young Gazans opportunities for a better future.

Others include PCRF, which provides free medical care for thousands of injured and sick children; World Central Kitchen, which has delivered more than $400 million worth of meals, and UNRWA, which supports humanitarian assistance to refugees in the Strip.

The news of the donation comes shortly after Bella Hadid, during her visit to the Cannes Film Festival, highlighted the cultural importance and resilience of Palestinians.

“Palestine in my mind, in my blood and in my heart. Always… While I still have to go to work, even through this horror, wearing our culture makes me a proud Palestinian and I want the world to continue to see Palestine wherever we go,” she wrote.

In her post, Bella, 27, showed off a Keffiyeh dress to represent the history and art of Palestinian embroidery.

“I want to highlight designers who have highlighted the Palestinian cause over the years. “This is a Kiffiyeh dress, made by #michaelandhushi @hushi5 in 2001. A beautiful way to represent history, the labor of love, resistance and most importantly, the art of historical Palestinian embroidery,” he added.
