Martin Starger, who served as producer of films such as “Nashville” and “Mask,” died on Friday, at the age of 92, at his home in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

“He was a brilliant, elegant and extraordinary man, who had wonderful taste in projects,” declared the deceased’s niece, in a statement.

The famous creator began his successful journey on the American network ABC, where he played the role of president of the company; in addition to having been behind the direction of projects such as “Happy Days” and “Rich Man, Poor Man”.

It should be added that, after having worked in television, Martin Starger also served as executive producer of Hollywood films such as: “The Great Muppet Caper” (1981) and “The Last Unicorn” (1982).

In addition to his contributions to film and television, the famous producer also supported the theater industry, as he even completely financed the play “Grade”, a comedy, written by Larry Gelbart.

Likewise, at the moment there are no details of the cause of death, but the famous person’s niece explained that her uncle always used to “divide his time” traveling between New York and Los Angeles.
