Jorge Luis Calderón took his first steps as a professional footballer at Atlético Bajío and later joined the ranks of Club León during the 2011 season to play in the U-20 division with the aim of polishing all his skills to be able to be called up to the first team at some point in his career.

For the 2013-2014 season he had a total of five appearances in the Copa MX and was part of the Aztecs’ first team with only one match played in the Apertura tournament and another in the Clausura; His skills allowed him to debut as a scorer by scoring a goal against Rayos de Necaxa in these seven games.

After this he remained in the lower divisions of Club León to be called up only on one other occasion during the time in which he remained defending the team’s colors; He left the club in 2018 as he did not have the support of the coaches who came to the feline bench.
