With more than 20 years of experience, Shakira has won the hearts of millions of people around the world, thanks to a large number of songs that have become true classics. However, and despite the great “love” of her people for her music, the same artist recently revealed what her least favorite composition is.
During her participation in the program First We Feast, where guests are subjected to various spicy foods to discover their resistance, the Latin singer was questioned by the presenter based on an old statement from Shakira herself.
In said revelation, the Colombian mentioned that when listening to her “previous version,” she used to say that “it sucked.” Due to the above, the presenter asked Shakira: “What makes you uncomfortable or cringe when you listen to your material from years ago?”
Given this, Shakira revealed, openly, that her song “Suerte (Whenever, Whenever)” causes her great conflict, to the point of not wanting to listen to it, because she exaggerated in some features, which ended up helping her stand out but about aspects I didn’t want.
I think I used to exaggerate the crying in my voice, you know? The lero, lole, lole. Now I think that was a bit exaggerated, too Shakira.”
The story between Shakira and Piqué does not end
In recent days, the Spanish journalist Robert Antolín, in a talk with the media Miter Live, revealed that Shakira’s ex, Gerard Piqué, would be close to taking one of the most important steps in his relationship with Clara Chía, something that is not even known. What he did in the more than 10 years that he was with the Colombian woman: getting married.
In addition to the above, and according to Antolín, the former World Champion is also thinking about starting a new family with Clara. However, and despite Gerard Piqué’s “ambitious” plans for him and Clara Chía, the journalist mentioned that the Spanish woman is not sure about following the same path due to her young age: “Gerard Piqué wants to be a father, but “Not Clara.”
Finally, Antolin mentioned that although Piqué and Shakira gave life to their own family during the time they stayed together, the news about his desire to marry Chía would “very disappoint” the “Waka Waka” singer.
During the 12 years of relationship between the South American singer and the former Spanish soccer player, neither had the interest in getting married according to their own statements. In the case of the businesswoman, she declared, in an interview with 60 Minutes, that she was “scared” of her marriage. She even mentioned that she preferred Gerard to see her as her girlfriend and not her wife.
Meanwhile, Piqué mentioned, in another interview, that, prior to their breakup, they were a good couple who worked well and that they did not see the need to get married: “We have two children, aged nine and seven. We work well as a couple. We don’t need to be married.”
Currently, Shakira is promoting her recent album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran”, which will have its own tour starting in November in the United States. It is expected that in the following weeks, the Colombian will announce her shows for South America, Europe and the rest of the world.
