After it was revealed that Shakira’s father, William Mebarak, was hospitalized in an emergency in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia, due to pneumonia, it was revealed that the “Waka Waka” singer arrived in the South American city.
According to what was revealed by Blu Radio, the Colombian singer arrived in Barranquilla on the morning of June 6 without the company of her children, Milan and Sasha, who remained in the city of Miami, the singer’s residence.
Just a few hours after her arrival, it was reported that the singer entered the Intensive Care Unit of the Clínica Iberoamericana after being escorted by two Metropolitan Police patrols.
Shakira wants to avoid leaks about her father’s health
As revealed by the same medium, one of the first actions that the businesswoman also did when she arrived at the hospital was to speak with the communications team to avoid any type of leaks regarding William Mebarak’s health.
