The Uruguayan team presented its final call-up of 26 players to compete in the Copa América 2024, which will take place in the United States from June 20 to July 14.

La Celeste announced the list in a spectacular way through a video in which several Uruguayan musicians appear naming each player called up by coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Within the Argentine coach’s list are names such as Luis Suárez, Brian Ocampo and another of those already known within the Celeste team such as the defender José María Giménez, the midfielders Federico Valverde and Rodrigo Bentancur and the attacker Darwin Núñez.

Suárez, 37 years old, will compete in a new edition of this continental competition in which he managed to lift the trophy in 2011 in the Copa América held in Argentina.

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is also part of Bielsa’s call, as well as Nicolás de la Cruz, Mathías Olivera and Nahitan Nández.

Uruguay will share Group C with Bolivia, Panama and the United States.
