the-emotional-reunion-between-noa-argamani-and-her-father-after-eight-months-kidnapped-by-hamasThe emotional reunion between Noa Argamani and her father after eight months kidnapped by Hamas

Noa Argamani’s emotional reunion with her father was recorded in photos and videos at the Tel-HaShomer Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. The young woman, 25 years old, was transferred there along with three other hostages rescued by the Israeli Army this Saturday in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the Gaza Strip.

The other freed hostages are Almog Meir Jan, 21; Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, who, like Noa, were kidnapped by Hamas during the Nova music festival on October 7, when the terrorist group committed the bloody attack.

The moving images captured the deep emotion between the young woman and her father, and the relief of the families at being reunited after the distressing experience that took eight months.

To the shocking images of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel on October 7 of last year, was added a shocking video in which Noa Argamani is seen crying and pleading for her life, while several men took her on a motorcycle to Gaza.

In the video, Noa can also be seen extending his arms towards a man identified as Avinatan Or, who was being carried by several Palestinian militiamen, on foot and pushed, towards the same direction. This man would be her boyfriend and they were both at the electronic music festival.

The couple’s relatives wanted the video to be widely disseminated in the hope that they could then be located and secure their safe release.

This rescue, reported by the Efe news agency, stands out as the largest since the beginning of the war, surpassing the operation in Rafah in February, when the Argentine-Israeli Luis Norberto Har and Fernando Marman were rescued.

The four hostages, in good health, received a visit from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the health center. “Israel does not surrender to terrorism and acts with creativity and boundless courage to bring our kidnapped people home,” said the Israeli official.

Netanyahu indicated that he approved the operation last Thursday, aware of its complexity and danger, and noted that it was based on intelligence that placed the hostages in Nuseirat. The Hamas government of Gaza, for its part, claimed the death of at least 210 people and more than 400 injuries during the operation.

The operation called “Summer Seed” was carried out by the Army, the Shin Bet and the elite Yamam police force, resulting in the death of Yamam commander Arnon Zamora.

Israeli Army spokesman Daniel Hagari described the mission as one of the “most complex” and highlighted that they defied threats under intense fire. He also acknowledged the deaths of many Palestinian civilians and blamed the terrorist group for holding hostages in civilian settings and attacking the vehicle carrying those rescued.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant celebrated the release of the hostages, while President Isaac Herzog expressed his emotion and called the operation “impressive and brave.”

The Forum of Families of Hostages and Kidnapped Persons, while celebrating the rescue, reminded the government of its commitment to recovering the remaining hostages. Of the 251 kidnapped on October 7, 116 remain in the enclave, with at least 40 dead according to Israel, and more than 70 according to Hamas. In addition, there are four hostages held captive for years, two of whom are dead.
