A South Carolina woman won the grand prize of $250,000 in a lottery game, but regretted that she still has to continue working, state lottery officials said.

“I wish it had been more so I could quit my job,” the winner joked after landing the jackpot in a scratch-off game.

The woman spent $5 on the winning ticket after leaving work.

He decided to purchase the ‘Giant Jumbo Bucks’ scratch-off game at the Mini Mart store, located on South Congress Street in Winnsboro, Fairfield County.

The woman commented that she bought it because she felt lucky, and she was right.

Although she said winning was exciting and fun, the woman added that it has made her a little nervous thinking about what to do with the prize money.

According to lottery officials, he plans to use his new fortune to invest in his home and save for his son’s education.

The winner will be able to maintain her privacy, as South Carolina is one of 11 states that allow lottery winners to remain anonymous.

The other states are Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas and Virginia.

The odds of winning the $250,000 jackpot in the Giant Jumbo Bucks game were 1 in 960,000.

This was the first of the game’s six jackpot-winning tickets to be won, meaning there is still $1,250,000 in unclaimed jackpot prizes left.

Additionally, the Mini Mart store received an extra commission of $2,500 just for selling the winning ticket.
