This morning the Puerto Rican musician Don Omar informed all his followers that he suffers from cancer. In this recent publication he did not give details about the type of cancer he suffers from and when he was diagnosed.
The announcement was accompanied by a photograph of the bracelet that was placed on him at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Florida.
He also wrote: “Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer. Good intentions are well received. See you soon”.
The singer, considered one of the most important figures in reggaeton, trusts that with medical treatment he will be able to overcome the disease. It should be noted that Don Omar is only 46 years old.
In the same publication, his followers and colleagues have made clear their support at this time and assure him that he will be able to face this new challenge.
Don Omar officially retired in 2017, after 15 years of musical career. However, he has always been present thanks to his great successes.
However, during this year he has had some concerts and there are even presentations scheduled for August of this year, at the moment it has not been reported if they will be rescheduled. According to the singer’s website, during the end of the summer he would be visiting several cities in the United States.
