At the end of Sunday’s day, a video went viral where former Real Madrid player, Sergio Arribas, avoided a tragedy in the Maldives by saving a couple of tourists from drowning in the sea.

Now in Almería, Arribas is in the Maldives with his wife Ana Martín enjoying the holidays. In the video that has gone viral, you can see how the footballer enjoys the company of his wife in the hotel pool.

Hearing desperate cries for help, they both went to rescue the couple, who were on the beach that connects with the pool. In fact, the 22-year-old midfielder used a slide to quickly reach the area of ​​the beach where they were.

Who is Sergio Arribas?

Born in Madrid in September 2001, he began his career in 2007 at the Pérez Galdós club. Subsequently, he left in 2010 for Deportivo Leganés.
