The star and captain of the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge, put all the Mules fans in suspense this Tuesday after he was forced to leave the game against the Baltimore Orioles after receiving a strong ball on his left hand.

All the alarms went off at Yankee Stadium when in the fourth inning Judge came to the plate for his second at-bat of the night and ended up out of the game due to the hit he received.

A fastball from Venezuelan pitcher Albert Suárez at 94.1 miles per hour was enough to make El Juez writhe and complain of pain, but he was still able to reach first base.

However, after a single by Alex Verdugo that moved him to third base and another hit by Giancarlo Stanton that scored Judge, he was removed from the game.

However, Judge was able to cover the top of the fifth inning as usual in center field, but later the Yankees manager decided to give pinch-hitter Trent Grisham the opportunity to take his turn and relieve him in the middle of the field.

It is unknown if Judge’s removal from the lineup occurred as a result of the hit by the ball or if he felt discomfort and was examined as a precaution.

In any case, a hypothetical injury to Judge will compromise the aspirations of the Yankees on their path both to reach the postseason and to fight to win the 2024 World Series, especially after this Tuesday the fracture of Anthony Rizzo in his arm and It was confirmed that Gerrit Cole would return to the mound to work this Wednesday against the Orioles in the second game of the series.
