He had become one of the public’s favorites, but this Thursday, June 20, he had to say “goodbye.” José Luis Rodríguez, better known as Puma, was eliminated today in the reality show ‘Top Chef VIP 3’.
The news has brought many reactions, because the Venezuelan singer had earned the affection of his colleagues and many viewers. However, what he showed tonight on the program that challenges the culinary talents of a group of celebrities was not enough.
The elimination was dramatic because she was left with her compatriot, the Venezuelan actress Alicia Machado, with whom she had tough clashes in recent days.
Eliminated today on ‘Top Chef VIP 3’
“I thanked God that they eliminated me because I can’t imagine Alicia’s situation if she had lost,” commented the ‘Pavo Real’ interpreter.
After these words, many were dismayed, including Carmen Villalobos, who hosts the show, because the former beauty queen did not say goodbye to her partner.
Alicia Machado, after learning the news, continued on her way and did not have any close gestures with the Puma. Although, she had previously offered him an apology, but he did not accept it.
Some participants like Paty Navidad had a shocked reaction, while the Spanish actor José María Galeano told Miss Universe 1996 from the cellar: “Hug him, hug him.”
The Venezuelan actress Carolina Tejera also made comments about what had happened with Alicia Machado and the Puma: “I know she is a good person, but I don’t know what’s going through her mind.”
For his part, Gabriel Coronel stated: “It seems inhuman to me, I swear from the bottom of my heart, it makes me very sad.”
After this moment, the Venezuelan was firm and sent a forceful message: “I am not here to let the production know if I am a good person or not, I come here to do my job and compete, to win that award and to reach at the end”.
Although ‘Top Chef VIP 3’ challenges celebrities in the kitchen, coexistence is also something that influences, since their emotions are moved by the conflicts that may arise while they participate and this is a clear example of this.
