The Colombian and naturalized Mexican forward of the Águilas of Club América, Julián Quiñones, formally ended his internship as one of the most important figures within the Coapa team to sign an agreement with Al-Qadsiah of Saudi Arabia and be able to give him a new air his professional career outside of Mexican territory; This fact occurs despite having managed to lift the trophy of the Liga MX Clausura 2024 tournament.
The information about this outing was made known by the Águilas del América themselves after sharing a video and a series of messages of gratitude to Quiñones for the work he did within the organization that he defended for a year; During this period he managed to score 21 goals and won three titles to be one of the most important figures in the organization.
“With you here it is difficult to talk now because we are going to miss you a lot here, miss the player you were all this time and the person a lot. Thank you for all this moment,” said azulcrema technical director, André Jardine, during the video.
For its part, Al-Qadsiah made the hiring of the Colombian official through its account on the social network The information details that the player reached an agreement until 2028 to officially join the Saudi Professional League.
The player decided to send a few words of gratitude to all the América fans who supported him during this last year and stressed that he will always consider himself a faithful member of their organization.
“Hello Americanists, from day #1 that I stepped foot in this institution I knew what I was coming for and I fulfilled it and I also know that the time of us players for the biggest club in Mexico can be very short and it can be very long. And just as it can be excellent, it can also be bad. My step was very short and in my point of view it was excellent, where I left traces that can never be erased,” he said.
