Starting June 21, Krispy Kreme presents the collection Star Spangled Sweetness in honor of the 4th of July with three patriotic donuts in a custom red, white and blue box for a limited time.
Independence Day in the United States is celebrated on July 4, to remember the historical event of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. It is a special date for Americans who celebrate in style with barbecues, meetings, fires artificial flags and thousands of flags as a symbol of patriotism.
Krispy Kreme Global Brand Director Dave Skena notes that the new collection is a sweet way to celebrate the 4th of July. “From backyard barbecues with family, friends and neighbors to sidewalks lining neighborhood parades, our Star Spangled Sweetness donuts make our Independence Day celebration sweeter than ever,” he said.
3 new flavors to celebrate the 4th of July
The new flavors in this new collection are: Firework Cookies & Kreme, Cotton Candy Sparkler and Freedom Flag.
- Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Donut – A donut filled with Cookies & Kreme, topped with red icing and decorated with a swirl of blue icing and a piece of arugula candy.
- Cotton Candy Sparkler Donut – An original donut with blue icing and cotton candy sugar, decorated with dollops of white and red buttercream.
- Freedom Flag Donut: This is an original flavor donut dipped in white icing and decorated with patriotic stripes of red icing and blue and gold sprinkles.
The new products are available in Krispy Kreme stores, can be taken by dozens or in the case of Star Spangled Sweetness donuts in a special 6-count box, according to a statement.
As part of the celebrations, Krispy Kreme will be giving away original glazed donuts to customers who come to the stores dressed in the colors red, white and blue.
Krispy Kreme is a globally recognized company from North Carolina that operates in more than 35 countries with more than 14,000 new access points, where it stands out for its donuts and that characteristic flavor of the brand.
