Actress, presenter and writer Giselle Blondet has gone on a trip to Edinburgh, United Kingdom. On her Instagram account she has shared details about her walks, especially the moment she visited part of the area where ‘Outlander’, the period television series produced by Sony Pictures Television, was filmed.
On Instagram he wrote: “From Edinburgh, Scotland, I bring you a little piece of ‘Outlander’ magic. I’m in Bakehouse Close, an essential place for fans of the series like me. Here I allowed myself to dream of traveling to the past and appearing in front of Jamie’s printing press!”
As she herself says in the publication, in fiction Bakehouse Close is the place where the printing press of Jamie Fraser, one of the main characters in the story, is located.
The truth is that visiting the places where the series was filmed for seven seasons is a great tourist plan for those who visit Scotland.
All the places used as a recording set are not together, so it requires a walk that also allows you to discover magical spaces in the country.
Blondet even took charge of making another publication on his Instagram account where he summarizes all the places he was able to visit.
He wrote: “Look, I continue touring Scotland and I had the opportunity to see more spectacular places where one of my favorite series ‘Outlander’ was filmed. Everything is magical and captivating. Without a doubt an unforgettable trip.”
It is not known if this trip that Blondet has made to Europe will only include Scotland, or if he has plans to visit other countries. Although she has made it clear on social networks that her purpose was to know the places where one of her favorite series was recorded.
It should be remembered that ‘Outlander0’ is a British-American television series that premiered in 2014. Its story is based on the novel of the same name by the American writer Diana Gabaldon.
