An impressive mansion in Aspen, Colorado, that once belonged to John Denver, has just entered the real estate market. The American musician used this home as a recording studio and guest house.
The residence is available on the real estate market for $8.49 million and will no doubt attract some music fans. It must be remembered that the country music singer died at just 53 years old in a plane crash.
The property sits on a 5-acre lot and its two main structures existed when Denver owned the site. The musician even spent so much time in the place that he wrote a song inspired by it, it’s called ‘Starwood in Aspen’.
This song is also related to the fact that Denver was an important part during the creation of Starwood, one of the few closed areas in Aspen. He owned this property from the 70’s until his death.
The current owner of the place is a doctor based in Florida who was in charge of making some transformations to the place. His renovation project served to update the place and make it more functional.
Total living space is 2,912 square feet, but interested parties will have the option to expand up to 5,750 square feet with the addition of a second floor.
Of the interior we have to mention its large floor-to-ceiling windows, stone walls, floors, wooden beams and frames and more. It should be noted that the best part of this property is its impressive view of the snow-capped mountains.
The master bedroom has a sitting room with a fireplace and access to a private terrace.
Outside there are green areas, a terrace, dining room, jacuzzi, bonfire and other ideal spaces to enjoy the outdoors with family or friends.
