Subway is launching a new promotion to celebrate World UFO Day this year that involves delivering orders in four cities and offering 20% discounts on its footlong products: Footlong Dippers, Footlong Cookies and the iconic Footlong Sub .
The 20% off any Footlong Sub offer will be available from June 24 to July 1, 2024. To get the offer, customers must order a Footlong Dipper and Footlong Cookie in the Subway app or Subway.com and use the promotion code “UFODAY” at checkout.
While in the cities of Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and Orlando, Footlong orders will be delivered with drones for the most active MVP Rewards members in each city.
The 20 percent off offer, which excludes the brand’s Footlong Sidekicks, is limited to one user per order and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, Subway clarifies in a statement.
Two dates for the same celebration
World UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) Day is celebrated on both June 24 and July 2. The first date corresponds to the first UFO sighting reported by Kenneth Arnold.
While July 2 commemorates the Roswell incident of 1947, since that day, several people claimed that they saw a spacecraft crashing in the New Mexico desert. It is also called as World Ufo Day.
