The long-suffering victory of the Mexican National Team against Jamaica in the debut of the Copa América 2024 has generated reactions. However, something that is trending was what happened hours before with former soccer players Oswaldo González and Kikín Fonseca, who generated repudiation among fans for supposedly entering a live show while intoxicated.

Prior to Mexico’s debut, the now analysts of the TUDN network were doing some television shows. However, one of them did it from a bar in Houston, Texas.

In the first pass you can see Sánchez and Fonseca inside the establishment sharing with fans and consuming beers and tequila. Even in the television insert there was a message that said: “Kikín and Oswaldo continue on forced vacations. The life of this couple is very complicated.”

This first live link was highly criticized by fans and users on social networks, considering that it was not the appropriate time for this type of content. One of them was the renowned journalist Joaquín López-Dóriga.

“I seriously can’t understand this alcoholic promotion of the Copa América, TUDN. And the girls, boys and adolescents? “Who came up with it?” she wrote.

“Very bad. Without joke or sense”; “Unconsciousness is a symptom”; “Promoting alcoholism,” were other reactions on social networks.

Second live show with drinks in hand

That would not be the only moment of controversy, since Fonseca and Sánchez would have another live connection. On this occasion, yes, with microphone in hand. In the video you can see them in an apparent state of drunkenness and Kikín even holds a glass in his hand.

So far none of those involved nor the TUDN network has offered any comments on the situation.
