It was around the 28th minute when El Machín, in a defensive retreat play, was chasing a Jamaican rival and ended up ignoring the action to throw himself onto the grass twisted in pain. After leaving the field of play, Álvarez had to leave the NRG stadium on a stretcher. The extent of the injury will be known between this Sunday and Monday.
