TikTok has revolutionized the world of content creation, offering users the chance to earn money through their viral videos. However, the process of earning income can be more complex than it seems at first glance.
Recently, TikTok removed its Creator Fund, which paid users who met certain criteria, and replaced it with the Creativity Program.
This new program, currently in the testing phase in several regions, maintains similar requirements to the previous one.
To participate in the Creativity Program, creators must meet certain conditions.
Those who meet the requirements can apply to be included in the program and, if accepted, will be able to begin receiving payments.
TikTok is known for not being very clear about how much it pays its creators.
However, consensus on the Internet suggests that the payment per 1,000 views ranges between $0.02 and $0.04.
This means that a video with one million views could generate between $20 and $40.
Although this figure may seem low, some creators have reported that payouts may be even lower.
Reactions to the Creativity Program have been mixed. While some creators manage to make thousands of dollars a month, others complain about declining views and low income.
