Last October, in a match with the Brazilian team for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, star Neymar suffered a severe cruciate ligament injury from which he continues to recover.

That is why the current Al Hilal player from Saudi Arabia is not called up for Brazil. However, Neymar accompanies and supports his team like another fan and could even be seen from the box in the Brazil vs. draw. Costa Rica at SoFi Stadium in California.

After his national team’s match, Neymar took advantage of his stay in the United States to play another of his favorite sports, which is poker. Well, the Brazilian participated in a table at the Hustler Casino in Los Angeles which was full of stars.

At the table that night there were sports stars such as boxer Ryan García, Neymar and NBA Jimmy Butler. Just against the latter the Brazilian had a head to head in which he ended up losing $174,000 dollars.

Ney and Butler faced each other in a hand and both began to raise their bets. The Brazilian was confident in his cards and put $174,000 at stake. But it didn’t turn out as he expected.

The footballer had a “K” and a “4” of diamonds in his hands. While the Miami Heat player showed off a pair of “5s.” So when the flop opened, Butler completed a set of “5s,” enough to win the game against Neymar.

Despite losing in that hand to Butler Neymar did not have a bad night at the table. Well, he ended up winning $300,000 dollars to go home with a cumulative profit of $500,000 dollars.
