The president of Ukraine wrote a post on his X account where he said that they will continue their work to free all the prisoners.

“I thank our exchange team: Budanov, Yermak, Maliuk, Klymenko and Lubinets. And to all our helping partners, including the United Arab Emirates, for their help in the liberation of our people. Together we can achieve even the most difficult results,” he noted.

Russian soldiers transferred to Moscow

The Russian Defense Ministry explained on its Telegram channel that the exchange was the result of a negotiation process in which the United Arab Emirates provided humanitarian mediation.

“The released servicemen will be transferred on military transport planes of the Russian Air Force to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

All those released are receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance, the ministry said.
