A house in New Jersey has just entered the real estate market that attracts attention for having been part of ‘The Sopranos’, the successful HBO series that aired from 1999 to 2007.

The residence is currently available for $579,000 and its exact location is Forest Hill, a neighborhood in the city of Newark in Essex County.

In fiction this property served as the home of Corrado John Soprano, Jr., a character played by Dominic Chianese, and was said to be on Watsessing Avenue, Belleville, another area of New Jersey.

Although the property was related to history, the truth is that its most iconic scene is when Tony Soprano, the protagonist of the series, starts digging in the garden of this house in search of money that according to Junior Soprano was buried.

According to ‘New York Post’, the property was sold in 2019 for $420,000 and now its owners expect to receive a profit of almost $200,000. The agents in charge of the sale are Maikol Puebla and Licelys Olmo of Christie’s International Real Estate, who are obviously taking advantage of the easy publicity that comes hand in hand with the series.

This property was originally built in the 1920’s and sits on a 0.11 acre lot. The main house has an approximate area of 3,000 square feet distributed in four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, one half bathroom, foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.

Regarding the interior, we must mention its floors, doors, frames, railings and other elements made of wood. The fireplace is covered in bricks and the kitchen stands out for having blue cabinets. No space in the residence looks too modern or luxurious.

In addition to the main house there is a garage with capacity for two vehicles.

The property has green areas in the front of the residence, although they do not offer a terrace or pool.
