Former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) stated this Friday that the problem of US President Joe Biden is not his 81 years, but “his incompetence.”

“Biden’s problem is not his age, it’s his incompetence. He is tremendously incompetent,” he said in Chesapeake, Virginia, a day after his debate with Biden, his likely rival in the elections next November.

Trump even wondered how the United States will be able to survive “five more months” with Biden in power: “This is the most dangerous moment in the history of our country.”

“The Biden on the stage yesterday is the same one who gave us open borders and skyrocketing inflation,” he added in a calm and satisfied tone after polls from various media outlets had given him the clear winner of the night.

The Republican campaign’s reading of the meeting also noted that Trump offered a “master class of debates.”

“From the beginning he had a clear message that he hit Biden with all night: that Biden ‘has done a bad job’ as president and that life was better for Americans during the Trump administration,” his team said.

Both Trump and Biden held election rallies on Friday.

The Democrat, who was in Raleigh (North Carolina), tried to put a stop to the criticism received for his poor performance on the CNN sets in Atlanta, where he seemed hesitant and at times unable to finish his sentences.

“I wouldn’t run again if I didn’t believe with all my heart and soul that I could do the job. “There is too much at stake,” Biden stressed.

The president also admitted that he does not walk “as easily” as he used to, he does not speak “as fluidly” or debate as well as in the past, but he knows how to “tell the truth” and do his job.

Donald Trump mocked Joe Biden’s failures

Donald Trump also mocked Joe Biden’s stumbles and mistakes in a video to question his ability to continue governing the country and reinforce his own image of winner in the first presidential debate.

“When you think about the Joe Biden you saw in the debate, ask yourself a question: do you think that a man who has been knocked down a flight of stairs, who has been knocked over by his bicycle, who lost a battle with a jacket and is constantly lost will manage to be four more years in the White House?” says the announcer of that recording.

Accompanied by a humorous melody, this video published on Trump’s account on his Truth Social network shows scenes such as Biden’s trip while climbing the stairs of the presidential plane in 2021 or the fall he had after trying to get off a bicycle in 2022.

The video also suggests that “a vote for Biden today” is actually a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris, who appears in one clip laughing out loud.
