A Mexican resident hit the jackpot and won a $1.3 million jackpot after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in the town of Pharr, Texas.

According to a Texas Lottery news release, the winning ticket was purchased at an HEB store located at 1300 S. Cage Blvd. in Pharr.

The winner decided to keep his identity secret.

The winning ticket matched all four white ball numbers and the bonus red ball number, securing the jackpot for the man from Mexico.

Last month, ValleyCentral reported that another player claimed a Powerball prize worth more than $1 million after purchasing a ticket at a drive-thru in Donna, Texas.

This recent winner from Pharr joins the list of lucky people who have had their lives changed thanks to the lottery.
