Former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has harshly criticized current President Joe Biden, warning that his re-election could bring the country closer to a Third World War.
On his Truth Social network, the Republican said that the recent electoral debate was a defeat not only for the president, but for the entire “radical left” Democratic Party.
He therefore urged voters to consider whether the United States can endure another four years under Biden.
Donald Trump stressed that the United States is in great danger during this transition period and assured that the nation has never before been so close to a Third World War.
He commented on his account that if this conflict were to happen, it would be like no other.
Joe Biden will continue campaigning despite Democratic discontent
President Joe Biden on Monday launched a new television and digital ad titled Knowin an effort to bolster his lead amid criticism following the last debate. In the footage, he is seen energized at a rally in North Carolina.
There, he proclaimed with determination: “When you get knocked down, you get up.”
This message is intertwined with images that contrast with Donald Trump’s statements during the June 27 debate, in which the Democrat focused on aspects such as his economic management, the response to the pandemic and his role in the events of January 6.
The 60-second ad will be strategically broadcast in key states and targeted at key demographic groups, including young people, and will air on networks such as ESPN, TNT, Bravo, FX, Freeform and Comedy Central, Efe reported.
A 30-second version will also be created for digital platforms, taking advantage of high-viewing moments such as the season premiere of the popular show. The Bachelorette.
The Democratic campaign has stepped up its efforts with more than 1,500 campaign events this weekend in crucial states, raising a significant $33 million in donations since Thursday.
Michael Tyler, the campaign’s communications director, highlighted Joe Biden’s determination as a leader who does not back down from challenges, and stressed that this is the essential quality that guides him as president of the United States.
Criticism of Biden for his debate performance continues, with Democratic figures such as Congressman Jamie Raskin acknowledging the need for honest discussions within the party.
He stressed that regardless of the current challenges, the Democratic Party will remain united around its leadership, whether with Biden as the leading candidate at the Democratic Convention in August in Chicago or with another figure representing the party’s interests.
