After being caught “fleeing” from the press in recent days, due to her negativity to talk about the romance between Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar, Belinda was once again in the public “eye” due to the controversial amount of money she demanded to be part of the 2024 Pride March in Mexico City.
According to the president of the organizing committee, Angelo Diep, who gave a recent interview, the interpreter of “Boba Niña Nice” was planned to be part of the conglomeration of artists for Pride 2024.
However, according to Diep, she withdrew her participation because an agreement could not be reached regarding her “salary,” which would have been $1 million pesos ($54,735 dollars).
I had some issues with Belinda but it wasn’t like that. The messages exist, nothing is false, I have all the messages about how the parties, the representatives, were paid, but Belinda has always been part of our allied population and I know that everyone has to get paid, that everyone has to eat.”

In her participation, Diep also mentioned that despite understanding Belinda’s demands and mentioning the “support” that the LGBT+ community gives to the actress, she also launched a message in which she “asked” for the same help from the Mexican: “I think three songs will not take up much time in your life.”
Also, and as part of his “complaint,” the president of the organizing committee confirmed the amount that the “Cactus” singer demanded to participate: “Anyway, greetings to Belinda. I know you charged a million, don’t act like it, I have the messages, but at the end of the day I am a fan and it is what it is.”
Finally, Diep shared that various artists, allies of the LGBT+ community, usually participate in this event for a minimal amount of money or even without demanding any type of compensation.
So far, the Latin artist has not mentioned or revealed any information regarding what Diep revealed.
