Cecilia Galliano and Gabriel Soto have flatly denied any kind of romantic relationship between them, insisting that they are just friends and co-workers. According to them, the images were taken out of context and manipulated to generate controversy.
The actors have made it clear that their priority at the moment is the success of the play they are participating in and they will not lend themselves to any kind of media scandal. “Publicity is always good. It is what is talked about in the play. That was the idea and it worked. There was one head, which is Quiroz. I, personally, had no problem, being alone, I had no problem. But I think it was discussed, agreed upon (with Irina Baeva); so, I think everything is fine,” said Cecilia.
“I would never (get into a relationship). That is very clear to me. It happened to me at one point, and it is not cool; so, no,” added the Argentine actress.
It seems that everything was a misunderstanding and that Cecilia and Gabriel are just friends and colleagues who work together on a play. Although the rumours have caused a stir in the media, both actors have made it clear that their relationship is strictly professional.
“That was the strategy from the beginning. In fact, we took some photos,” Soto told ‘Ventaneando’.
In addition, Gabriel also took the opportunity to clarify that his relationship with Irina Baeva is still solid and that these rumors have not affected his relationship. For her part, the actress of Russian origin has preferred to stay out of the controversy and has not made any statements on the matter.
“That is the point we want to make, how a photo can generate so much controversy and so much conversation. And the price of fame, finally. (With Irina) everything is fine. We have been talking about it since April. In fact, it was an idea that our dear Nicandro Díaz had, may he rest in peace. And, obviously, she was aware from the beginning and it is part of the strategy. We knew that they were going to start talking and speculating a lot of things. We took the photos here. We planted them, we mounted them, we gave them to the magazine,” said the renowned actor.
“As long as they don’t mess with your children and your privacy, and as long as it’s all speculation, I think everything is fine,” the Mexican added.
