The Burger King chain launched a new Gourmet Selection line in Mexico, which features two hamburgers: the Angus Fondue and the Angus Parmesan. With this new launch, Burger King seeks to satisfy the needs of the new consumer who wants new flavors and is faithful to the taste for the traditional Whopper.

Burger King Mexico’s Marketing Director, Oscar Alcántara, explains that the brand’s intention is to approach “this type of different proposals without losing the comfortable and casual format of Burger King, which remains accessible to everyone, as it has always been, but with that gourmet touch that the public needs. We are not talking about small portions, 25 servings, or a three-digit bill.”

These are two products introduced on June 24 as part of the fast food chain’s permanent menu.

The Angus Fondue comes with 150 grams of grilled Angus beef, accompanied by a Gouda cheese-based sauce, with crispy garlic flakes and crispy bacon, created specifically for palates that like the combination of ingredients.

The Angus Parmesan is a burger with 150 grams of juicy meat, accompanied by thin slices of Parmesan cheese, caramelized onions and crispy bacon.

The launch of the new Gourmet Selection line was attended by some celebrities and influencers, such as Chef Herrera, Alan Estrada and Ricardo Peralta, among others, AS Mexico reports.
