Actor Matías Novoa is living one of the most exciting stages of his life after the birth of his second child, the product of his love with his wife Michelle Renaud. At the same time, the Chilean is not doing well because the mother of his little Axel is accusing him of not helping her to support him.

“Right now we are in a judicial process on this issue. Since 2017 he has not received the amount of child support he was owed, but those are agreements that I am waiting for the judge in charge to really decide what is best for Axel,” María José Magán, the boy’s mother, told the press.

Magán took the opportunity to clarify several issues: “He doesn’t owe me, he owes his son. Whatever is best for my son, that’s why I’m also in this process so that he receives what belongs to him and regardless of that, what I want is for Axel to be happy and not deprive him of the right to be with his father.”

“María José also mentioned that her son traveled to meet the new member of the family, the fruit of the marriage between Matías and Michelle: (Axel) is very happy, very happy that he is going to meet his little brother. He always wanted a little brother and now he is happy to meet him. In fact, he went with his (paternal) grandparents to Madrid.”

The Chilean actor’s former partner said: “I’ve always gotten along really well with Axel’s grandparents, they’ve always been amazing with me and they’ve always been like family to me; they adore their grandson because he’s their oldest grandson. I don’t mix things up. Because he’s one thing, my son is another, and his parents and mine are another thing.”

Matias Novoa defended himself

“Something about me came up too, and I don’t know where it came from, and it makes me very sad because the one most affected here is Axel, who is almost a teenager. I would never abandon my son. I don’t know where that came from, honestly. Obviously, we are in a legal matter and the lawyers are looking into it, but that is obviously gossip and it is a lie… No, not at all (I owe him 2 million pesos). I have not wanted to make any statements either because it is something that could affect Axel a lot,” she told the media in May.

“My son’s mother is my son’s mother, the most important thing for him, and if Axel is okay, that is our priority. Our priority is to give him love, and he has to be okay. Right now, he is going with me to spend the holidays to welcome our new member,” added the actor.
