Carolina Tejera, a Venezuelan actress, has given a controversial opinion on ‘Top Chef VIP 3’, explaining that a woman should not be the president of a country.
In a conversation with several contestants, the artist left many speechless and they even called her a misogynist.
“Look, I’ve said it all my life and I haven’t changed my mind. I’m a person who defends human rights, both for men and women, but for me women are not fit to be president,” she said.
The Child Prodigy was quick to respond and said: “But how can you say that? God can punish you, girl.”
For her part, Alicia Machado said: “Carolina went crazy.”
After the reactions, the Venezuelan had the opportunity to defend her opinion: “Do you know why? And I can give you a very logical explanation of what I am telling you. First and foremost, women, we have too many hormonal changes constantly.”
Her compatriot Alicia Machado was against this and that is why she expressed: “I mean, it is the most misogynistic and sexist thing I have ever heard in my life.”
She also told her that menstruation and mood swings are a theory that men have used for years to attack women. “Menstruation makes me smarter,” said the former beauty queen.
Niño Prodigio considered that Alicia Machado, with her opinion, deserved to be president. “Women are more intelligent than men,” she commented.
Carolina Tejera continued to defend her opinion, despite her colleagues pointing out that she was not right: “Women are very important, but in the political arena for me there are certain positions and certain professions where men are better positioned.”
Spanish actor José María Galeano criticized her, but in a subtle way: “I would like you to listen to me for a second, because I have been saying this all my life. I feel that, since the beginning of time, if women ruled the world, things would be much better for us.”
His message caused good comments, as many agreed with the heartthrob.
The truth is that Carolina Tejera’s statements have been the subject of much discussion on social media, as many believe that her opinion was not correct.
