Emmanuel Palomares, Irina Baeva’s former partner, met with the media and was asked about the Russian’s departure from ‘Aventurera’ and he did not hesitate to appear disconcerted by the news he was being given, as he apparently did not know what was happening.
“Did the producer say that? I would have to see the producer and see what he tells me about it… For now, I will be waiting for answers to what the producer says, but we are still giving performances. Today we gave performances very well and tomorrow we are here and on Saturday we are here, we will have more details for you, I suppose,” he replied to the reporters.
The Venezuelan-born actor stressed that it was probably all the negative comments that were recorded that made Juan Osorio take that decision: “All possibilities are possible at this moment… I also suppose that it must be quite hard (to be criticized), because we all have different opinions. Today, I felt that the public that came to see us was very happy, very joyful, and that makes me very happy.”
“Let’s wait, shall we? I can’t say anything right now. I’m going to a meeting… We have to listen to you. You’re the first ones to criticise. So we have to listen to you in order to make the necessary adjustments, but I think it’s going to work,” said the producer of ‘Aventurera’.
The decision to replace Baeva was reportedly made with the aim of improving the show and providing the best possible experience for viewers. Despite the actress having received many negative reviews for her role, Osorio has not claimed to have acted under external pressure, but for the good of the play.
The actress of Russian origin has not yet issued any statement, but it is expected that in the coming days more details will be revealed about her departure from ‘Aventurera’ and who will replace her in the play.
This news has caused a stir in the entertainment world, as Irina had been one of the most eagerly awaited actresses in the play. However, Juan has made it clear that his priority is to offer a quality show and that he will do everything necessary to achieve this.
