José Eduardo Derbez and the details of his parents' reunion

Last weekend José Eduardo Derbez welcomed his daughter and many were curious to know what the moment of the reunion between his parents would be like, and we are talking about Victoria Ruffo and Eugenio Derbez.

“As such, no recording. When we were in the operating room I mentioned it, also so that Paola would be more relaxed, I said to her: ‘What will be more interesting, what we are recording right now or what is happening out there? We arrived at the hospital very early, alone, the family arrived much later, I didn’t even know the order in which they arrived, or how they arrived, we were very nervous, with many things on our minds,” he began by saying to ‘De Primera Mano’.

“When Tessa was born and we went out into the hallways, the family started coming out from all sides and that’s when I realized that they were all gathered there. Seeing the whole family there was shocking for me, I couldn’t process anything, but we did say: ‘A photo!’, the photo was taken of everyone together and it was magical, they were all there, you’ll see that photo soon,” she said.

The actor took the opportunity to add more details about the moment when Victoria and Eugenio came to see little Tessa: “They sent me a message saying that my dad had already arrived, with Ale and Aitana, along with Paola’s parents, that they were going to take them to the room where we were going to be and that the rest of the family had not arrived. Later I found out that the Ruffos were taken to a waiting room. When we left the operating room with the girl, we passed in front of that room, someone else notified Paola’s parents and my dad, it took them longer to arrive, because the room was further away, but that’s how it happened.”

The actor also spoke about the excitement he felt when he became a father for the first time. He took advantage of being interviewed to talk about the excitement that fills him during this stage.

“It’s something really nice that we’re experiencing. Suddenly you’re tired, but when you see her face and her eyes you say: ‘It doesn’t matter.’ We’re very happy, excited, very content. She arrived at a very nice time in our relationship, we’re very much in love, happy, I think Tessa managed to unite everything and teach us many things,” he told the hosts of the entertainment show.
