Actress and model Cara Delevingne recently gave an interview where she talked about the house in Los Angeles, California, that caught fire in March of this year and was left destroyed.

During the interview with ‘The Times’ she confessed that the news affected her and made her very sad, but that she was able to cope with it in a better way because she was sober. It should be noted that the actress was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic to treat her addictions to alcohol and drugs.

She said: “It’s a shame, but everyone was safe and, as with everything, if I hadn’t been sober I would still be suffering from it.” She believes that if she hadn’t been sober everything that had happened would have devastated her and it would have been difficult for her to face the situation and deal with it.

The losses on the $7 million property were certainly many, and he has even been forced to begin a reconstruction project, but he is certain that he will once again have a perfect home to share with his family and pets.

She also said: “Of course it affected me, it’s very sad. It will never stop being sad, but I don’t use it as a tool to keep me sad.” Delevingne seems to be very clear about all the problems that addictions caused her, and analyzes that “I used to think that drugs and alcohol helped me cope.”

After rehabilitation and her subsequent sobriety, she feels she has regained control over herself, her actions and what she feels.

The fire occurred on March 15, and she was not at the property because she was performing in London at the time. It was reported at the time that the Los Angeles Fire Department was alerted to the flames at the property that Friday at 3:57 a.m.
