Hollywood stars Halle Berry and Glenn Close will star alongside Kim Kardashian in Hulu’s upcoming legal drama series “All’s Fair,” directed, written and produced by Ryan Murphy, media outlets such as Deadline and Variety confirmed on Monday.

First announced in December 2023, the series will chronicle the story of a successful divorce attorney, played by Kardashian, who runs an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Specific details about Berry and Close’s characters are still being kept under wraps, but both actresses will also serve as executive producers on the series, as will Kardashian.

The role marks the return of frequently Oscar-nominated Glenn Close to television legal dramas, a genre in which she previously excelled with her performance on the hit FX series Damages (2007-2010), where she played attorney Patty Hewes. Close won two of her three Emmys and a Golden Globe for her work on the series.

For Halle Berry, “All’s Fair” will be one of the few regular television projects she has had in her career. Previously, Berry, who won the Academy Award for best actress for her role in the film “Monster’s Ball,” starred in the CBS series “Extant” (2014-2015), which counted Steven Spielberg among its executive producers.

“All’s Fair” will be Ryan Murphy’s first series under his new overall deal with Disney following the end of his Netflix contract.

Murphy describes the new project as “a sleek, glossy, sexy adult procedural.”
