Colombian singer Karol G will be in charge of singing her country’s national anthem during the 2024 Copa América final, which will be played between the coffee-growing country and the Argentine national team in the city of Miami, Florida.
According to the Argentine media Olé, the “Bichota” will perform at the start of the final, in accordance with the protocol established in this type of match, in order to sing the Colombian national anthem. Meanwhile, Argentine singer Abel Pintos will do the same with the anthem of the South American nation.
The match that will determine the champion of the American continent will take place on July 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, with capacity for more than 60 thousand people, at 8 p.m. (Miami time).

Karol G joins the Colombian legion at the Copa América
Prior to the recent revelation of Karol G’s participation in the 2024 Copa América final, organizers of the event announced that Latin superstar and Karol G’s compatriot, Shakira, will also perform at the final.
Following the model of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the singer of “Waka Waka” will delight all those present with a concert halfway through the game.
However, according to recent reports, this performance will last longer than the established break time, which is 15 minutes, so it is expected that the process of setting up the stage, the show and the subsequent dismantling will make the entire performance of the Colombian singer last more than 20 minutes.
Shakira became involved in the 2024 Copa América even before she was chosen as the artist for the final, thanks to one of her most recent songs, “Puntería,” from her album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” being chosen as the official theme song for the event.
Likewise, and as part of the Colombian legion in the Copa América, the singer and current partner of Karol G, Feid, became the artist who inaugurated said tournament with a live concert inside the Mercedes Benz stadium in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.
Karol G will take a break from her tour
Karol G is immersed in her tour “Mañana Será Bonito Tour 2024”, through Europe, where she has visited various countries such as Italy, France, Germany, among others.
The Colombian singer will take advantage of the “space” she has between her most recent show, on July 8 in Lisbon, Portugal, and her next concert, on July 20 in Madrid, Spain, to take part in the biggest soccer event on the American continent at the national level.
