Just hours before the start of the 2024 Copa América final between the national teams of Argentina and Colombia at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, several attendees reported incidents with fans who allegedly tried to sneak into the event without having tickets to the match.

According to a report by Venezuelan journalist Juan Carlos Rutilo, a couple of fans sneaked into the Hard Rock Stadium facilities at the entrance and were knocked down and arrested by local police.

As seen on the cameras, the two fans identified with clothing alluding to Colombia were arrested and immediately removed from the facilities.

Other reports also indicated that this was not the only incident that occurred, as other attempts to enter without a ticket were also reported and even unofficial sources have said that more than 100 fans had managed to enter without a ticket for the match.

A sellout crowd of over 65,000 fans is expected for tonight’s game, which will be played at 8:00 PM (ET) and 5:00 PM (PT).
