Spanish actor José María Galeano posted a story on his Instagram account this Sunday to thank everyone for their support, especially after his friend Pancho Usteri was eliminated from ‘Top Chef VIP 3’.
In a video uploaded by the artist, who has become one of the most controversial in the competition, he said that despite his friend’s departure, he is convinced that he must continue to show his best in the kitchen.
“I want to thank everyone on the other side for so many kind words and so many messages of support. I have no words, I can tell you the truth. These are days in which, especially with the departure of my brother Pancho, people are telling me ‘Galeano, don’t give up, keep going, you’re our rooster, don’t give up, don’t give up’,” he said.
He then explained that these messages help him stay focused on his goal, which in his case is to win the Telemundo reality show. “They fill me with a feeling of, I don’t know, someone must be doing something right when they receive so many displays of support and affection,” he said.
This week, the Spaniard posted an emotional message on his Instagram account to talk about his friend.
“The knives of Top Chef Vip have pierced my heart tonight. Today a contestant, a cook, a good friend is not leaving the show… tonight my brother is leaving the kitchen; the bastard who won my friendship, my trust and the right to call me Brother for life, Pancho Uresti,” he wrote.
In the post she also said: “I would need an entire book to be able to tell you everything we have experienced here: a thousand cooking sessions, a thousand adventures, a thousand laughs and many tears. I am left with the love, the support, the complicity, the sincerity and everything that my brother Pancho has under his hat. It is hard for me to write this and know that tomorrow I will not have you by my side to continue fighting together.”
