A couple of months ago, baseball player Shohei Ohtani paid $7.85 million for a large house in La Cañada Flintridge, California. The purchase of the property did not come as a surprise, since the Japanese player has a $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ohtani and his wife Mamiko Tanaka have not moved in and have instead decided to put the place up for sale. The exact price the couple hopes to receive for the little residence is not yet known.

According to the New York Post and Japanese media, the Ohtanis decided to sell the residence because all the news about the property made fans aware of the exact location of the residence, so they usually go to the place.

This has resulted in the couple feeling harassed and not being able to enjoy the privacy and tranquility they want when they are off the court. Without a doubt, that was one of the most important characteristics that the couple was looking for, and that is surely why they chose one of the least popular areas of Los Angeles.

The couple is currently looking for a new residence to share and live in peace in Los Angeles. It should be noted that Ohtani is building a large residence in a private area of Hawaii.

The 30-year-old baseball player was to have at his disposal a large property occupying a lot of 0.93 acres.

The house was built in 2013 and has a surface area of 7,327 square feet spread over three floors with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, foyer, living room, great room, movie theater, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, sauna, gym and other amenities.

The residence stands out for its modern style. Inside, it is worth mentioning the large windows, wooden floors, stone walls in some of the rooms, sliding doors and more. The place is always well lit thanks to the windows and glass walls.
