Copa America 2024: Argentine fans fought from a distance with Maluma [VIDEO]

The 2024 Copa América final at Hard Rock Stadium had plenty of emotions. Also hundreds of episodes of conflict. One of them occurred in the box area when Colombian singer Maluma began arguing from a distance with Argentine fans.

The stands were full of celebrities. The television broadcast even focused on Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean and Juanes. But in a specific area of ​​the stadium there was Karol G, in charge of singing the Colombian national anthem, Ferxxo, Ryan Castro, Sebastián Yatra and Maluma.

The match was exciting and painful for long stretches. Colombia and Argentina tried to find each other, but they couldn’t find each other and the game went into overtime. In the 112th minute, Lautaro Martínez found himself one-on-one with Camilo Vargas and didn’t forgive. His goal practically sealed the match and decided the final in Argentina’s favour.

In the stands, boxes and seats of the Hard Rock Stadium, Argentine fans began to celebrate and sing. Apparently, this did not please Maluma and the moment in which he exchanged complaints with Argentine fans from a distance went viral on social media.

In the video, Maluma can be seen perched on a wall of windows in the box and vehemently waving one of his arms in protest. About 20 meters away was the other box full of Argentine fans, who responded and even laughed at the Colombian singer, who did have body language that denoted annoyance and frustration.

The match was full of tension and strong emotions due to an 80-minute delay thanks to hundreds of fans who sneaked into Hard Rock Stadium without a ticket, creating a stampede and bypassing all security checks and controls. Even the players’ families were affected by this situation.
