A young Mexican student decided to make his admiration and recognition for Latin superstar Bad Bunny more than visible by dedicating his high school diploma to him after his graduation.

Through TikTok, a video went viral in which the student’s mother, Gael Arturo Chong Arellano, can be heard showing and narrating the series of items that her son received as part of his graduation from CBTIS 64, in the city of Navojoa, Sinaloa, as a technician in Accounting.

In the same material, the mother of the family shows various photographs of Gael Arturo, dressed in the typical clothes of a school graduation such as the cap and gown, as well as another image where he appears with his high school classmates.

However, despite complimenting her son on his appearance and revealing the pride she feels in seeing the now accounting technician graduate, the mother was extremely surprised by the message that Gael Arturo included in his recognition, which begins with a dedication to his family and Bad Bunny.

The viralization of the video of the student’s mother generated all kinds of reactions for and against the graduate himself. While some users joked about Gael Arturo’s dedication, mentioning that “it would have been better” to dedicate it to the band BTS or another artist, others criticized his actions for being “inconsiderate” towards his family.

In addition to the above, another large group of people, who decided to remain neutral, pointed out that music, for students, often becomes a good way to cope with difficult times when pursuing a career of this type.

This is not the first time that Bad Bunny has become a central topic within a discipline of Mexican education. In recent months, the interpreter of “Tití Me Preguntó” became a topic of conversation within the Autonomous University of Coahuila thanks to the Music and Human Rights Workshop: “Let’s listen about gender”, where the song “Andrea” by the actor was analyzed.

Although the workshop was not part of the main structure of a university degree, the approach to the Puerto Rican’s music generated a large number of reactions among fans and non-fans of the Latin artist.

Recently, and within the framework of Bad Bunny’s involvement with the educational field, it was revealed that the Latin singer’s sports management agency, Rimas Sports, will make a donation of $200 thousand dollars to help young athletes from countries such as Puerto Rico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

In collaboration with BK2 International, this economic stimulus also seeks to develop social projects that benefit the sporting growth of Latin American athletes.
