To win $200,000, a group of 24 celebrities accepted the challenge of being part of “La Isla: Desafío Extremo.” The last confirmed group included the names of Natalia Alcocer, Chuy Almada, Sebastián Caicedo, Julia Gama, Valeria Guajardo, Samira Jalil, Aylín Mújica, Alba Prado, Adolfo Rodriguez, Alejandro Salgado and José Sedek.
In July: The Island, The House of the Famous Mexico and The Academy
Previously, Telemundo announced: Gisella Aboumrad, Carmen Aub, Carlos Caquias, Guty Carrera, Angélica Celaya, Adrián Di Monte, Cristina Eustace, Regina Fernández, Tony Garza, Julián Gil, Awilda Herrera, Sergio Mayer, and Hubert Riasco. This completes the list of 24 and everything is ready for July 30, the date on which this competition will kick off.
Taking into account each of the participants, the bets have begun. Who will win La Isla? That is the question everyone is asking. At the moment there are clear names among which all eyes will be focused. Guty Carrera and Chuy Almada are the main ones.
The Hispanic public got to know one of them on La Casa de los Famosos 4 and they have seen the other compete on several occasions on Exatlón USA, also on the Telemundo network.

However, La Isla is not only about meeting physical challenges; mental work is important to be able to overcome many challenges that require concentration and courage. That is why there are names among the favourites that are synonymous with ironclad composure, such as Gisella Aboumrad, Carmen Aub and Natalia Alcocer.
For now, it may be too soon, but many of the confirmed celebrities are already generating great expectations among the public that loves Telemundo’s reality shows.
It should be noted that the dynamics of the game will allow us to have three teams: The Eagles, The Sharks, and The Panthers. Each week, the teams will begin competing for the territory that will determine the conditions under which they will live that week.
They will all compete in numerous games to win important prizes such as salvation, captaincy, advantages, punishments, adventures, as well as nomination, among others. The celebrities themselves will hold internal votes to nominate, they will be the ones to vote to choose who will leave the competition each week.
