After several weeks of speculation about a separation, Irina Baeva and Gabriel Soto finally decided to openly announce their separation, after five years of a relationship, which, according to them, was full of “learning and experiences.”

It was through a statement shared on social media that the actors confirmed their breakup.

“Through this message, with the deepest respect and affection, we want to communicate that after several years of love, support and commitment, we have made the decision to end our relationship,” reads the beginning of the text.

“These have been years of learning and experiences that will remain with both of us and for which we will always be grateful,” the letter adds.

“We have made this decision after several months of reflection, with wisdom and maturity; the reasons will remain within our inner circle. We are grateful in advance for allowing us to navigate this situation with discretion and respect,” they concluded.

The document does not go into detail about the reasons for the separation, which, they insisted, is on good terms. However, the breakup comes a few days after their relationship was called into question, after Soto was romantically linked to Cecilia Galliano, his co-star in the play “El Precio de la Fama.”

Her departure also comes amid criticism of Irina Baeva, 31, for her poor performance as the lead in the production “Aventurera.”

It is worth remembering that the couple made their relationship public in 2019, after several rumors and scandals about the fact that the 49-year-old actor had been unfaithful to his then wife, Geraldine Bazán, with the Russian actress, whom he met when they starred in the soap opera “Vino el Amor” (2016).
