Just a few weeks away from the end of her successful tour “Mañana Será Bonito Tour”, Karol G continues to reap great triumphs in her career such as her recent appearance in the final of the Copa América 2024, as well as her participation in the next album by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. However, despite her imminent success, transcendence and impact in the world of music, the Colombian’s life could have had a different destiny if it were not for the intervention of her father.
During an interview with the international sports brand Red Bull, conducted in 2018, Karol G confessed that one of her dreams as a teenager, even before music, was to dedicate herself to motocross.
When I was a child, my cousins practiced motocross as a profession and I loved it. On family outings I took the opportunity to go for a ride.”
Karol G’s father prevented the Colombian’s dream
In the same participation, the interpreter of “Tusa” mentioned that despite her great enthusiasm for being part of this field, her father was the “cause” of her not dedicating herself to this profession due to the constant risk that she saw in her cousins and in the rest of the practitioners.
I would have liked to do it as a profession, but at home it was strictly forbidden. My dad never agreed because my cousins had accidents and he didn’t want to see that in me.”
This did not prevent the Colombian, years later, from deciding to buy a couple of motorcycles with which she usually has fun during her free time.
Likewise, and despite her difference with motorcycles, Karol G has also been characterized by her fondness for luxury cars, owning large models such as a Mercedes Benz G-Class, a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a gift from her ex-partner Anuel AA, another Mercedes Benz GLE 4 AMG as well as a Ferrari 812 GTS.
In fact, it was in this last car, which is customized by housing an intense pink color throughout its surface, where the actress was also captured taking a ride in the streets of Miami, Florida, months ago.
Karol G prepares to close her tour
After her performance in the final of the 2024 Copa América, Karol G is preparing to perform the last 4 concerts of her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in the city of Madrid, Spain.
From July 20 to 23, the Colombian singer will delight her fans in attendance and even her followers from the rest of the world, as she announced that her final concert, corresponding to July 23, will be broadcast, for free, on YouTube.
